Pastor Melissa Mahone received her charge by the audible Voice of God! For the past Twenty years she has been set apart and available to minister to others. Her commission comes from a C.O.G.I.C background where she was sealed with laying on of hands by her late Pastor Sarah Hankins. For many years she labored with her Pastor as a dedicated usher all the while being prepared for the work of an Evangelist. It was during these years that Pastor Mahone learned how to walk out, talk about, and live in Faith and declare to every issue of her life, "I will live and not die and declare the works of the Lord!" 

 

After moving from New York City to a small town called Troy, Alabama, Pastor Mahone continued in her call as an Evangelist. In 2006 by God's plan and design, Pastor Mahone encountered another Woman of God who lived by Faith, Apostle Naomi McCowan. The encounter was dynamic. They became united in the Spirit and under her covering the Evangelist was charged to Pastor. She was instructed Pastor Mahone to "Feed the sheep and never tell them to do something you are not willing to do your self"  "Preach the word of God in season and out of season"

 

While under the Covering of Apostle McCowan, Pastor Mahone traveled extensively preaching a word of deliverance, preaching the Good News of Jesus to all people who came across her path. Under the anointing of the Holy Ghost Pastor Mahone conducts revivals, conferences, and now leads a group of people who are determined to move forward with God's vision and go out into the entire world preaching Mark 16:15-18

 

Pastor Mahone believes in making things happen. She is a straight forward speaker who “is not" scared! She has taken hold of the mantles God has given her and holds tightly to the ones passed on by her spirituals leaders. She has a heart for those God has entrusted to her under watch care and she expects a double portion from her God by utilizing all the gifts God has provided NBUDC to infiltrate the world.  God’s Rhema word is now more available via all media’s to the world. NBUDC ministers to the WHOLE MAN mind, body, spirit, and soul.
